From humble beginnings to a premier footballing spectacle, the Christchurch International Cup has grown into one of New Zealand’s most exciting youth tournaments.

Founded ten years ago with just 12 teams, the tournament was born out of a vision to bring together ambitious young players, competitive clubs, and a celebration of the beautiful game in the heart of the South Island.

Now, in 2025, we proudly celebrate our 10th anniversary with an incredible 96 teams from across New Zealand and overseas—our biggest and most diverse lineup yet.

The Christchurch International Cup is more than a competition; it’s a cultural and developmental experience. Hosted at world-class facilities and backed by a passionate football community, it offers elite football, unforgettable memories, and a platform for players to test themselves against some of the best talent in the region.
